Digital Transformation and Project Management Experience

Digital City: Conceived and designed a ICT based project for Government of Pakistan to Korean Exim Bank for establishment of “e-Government Citizen Portal Innovation” for Islamabad. Concept paper was approved in November 2017 for $200 Million USD for implementation in 2018-2020. Technical design includes: Analytics & IOT for connected devices, citizen and Govt, Security infrastructure, Portal & Apps for improved engagement.

• To establish GIS based e-land(cadastre) for federal capital territory.
• Establishment of e-Procurement mechanism for federal (Islamabad Capital Territory) government agency contracts through e-government portal.
• Empowering government offices with centralized IP based unified communication mechanism including VoIP, e-Fax, e-video conferencing.
• Smart Transportation Payment System using National ID Card.
• A pilot project to establish e-Voucher/e-Card mechanism for Citizen Registration and Vital Statistics Services for the citizens of Islamabad.

Consultancy Services & Subject Matter Expert for Pakistan International Airline (PIA) for evaluating and upgrading “Airline Passenger Service System (PSS) and allied systems” for effective, efficient, and robust services. Consulting and advisory services included evaluation of existing system, evaluation of different solutions and integration with existing systems. Consultancy services were focused on reservation engine; inventory management; disruption management; pricing and fare management; e-ticketing; schedule management and departure control systems; integration with Oracle based ERP (Finance, HR, and SCM); crew scheduling; fuel management; revenue accounting; loyalty/frequent flyer system, internet booking engine along with e-commerce solution.
